The Public Information Office of the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services handles inquiries from the media and public relating to the programs, policies and operations of its five component offices: Counter Terrorism, Cyber Security, Emergency Management, Fire Prevention and Control, and Interoperable and Emergency Communications. Public Information Officers are available to respond to media inquiries during normal business hours at the numbers below. Media may contact Public Information Officers on nights and weekend by calling the New York State Watch Center at 518-292-2200.
