Accreditation Program Guidance and Standards
Note: the Program and associated standards will likely evolve over time due to policy changes, the identification of best practices and lessons learned, and other external factors that may influence emergency management in New York State.
DHSES and NYSEMA will work to notify the emergency management community in New York State of any major changes that impact the accreditation Program, and the Program guidance and standards will be updated accordingly. This guidance, like emergency management plans, should be considered a "living document" that is subject to ongoing review and updates.
