Emergency Management Accreditation

The New York State Local Emergency Management Accreditation Program is a voluntary program that has provided emergency management offices with a mechanism to evaluate and enhance the overall proficiency of their agency. Emergency Management Offices that receive accreditation are recognized both locally within their home jurisdiction and at the annual NYSEMA Conference. Additionally, local media outlets have recognized this achievement, highlighting the hard work of the emergency management organizations across New York State.
