Western NY Snow Storm & Flooding

In order to maximize the potential for federal financial assistance, DHSES is requesting that you provide information that describes resources and all costs associated with this incident.   

To support this effort, please provide the following information:

  • Jurisdiction supported
  • Number of personnel sent
  • Specialty teams sent (swift water rescue, search and rescue, confined space, etc.)
  • Equipment provided (pumper trucks, portable pumps, snow blowers, bucket loaders, ATVs, etc.)
  • Type of action supported (EOC operations, road clearance, shelter operations, sand bagging etc.)
  • Cost of providing support

I recognize the items listed above may not include all of the types of assistance that were provided.  Please feel free to include other specific information and their related costs when responding to this request.  I am aware that many agencies are still compiling their costs.  It is crucial that information, even if preliminary, be provided no later than close of business November 25, 2014.
