Overview
The 2026 New York State Disaster Preparedness Commission Conference will be held from September 15-17, 2026, in the Hudson Valley.
This year's conference will bring national experts from the emergency management field together with New York State and County Emergency Managers to exchange knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and advance promising practices across all phases of emergency management.
Session topics may include disaster preparedness planning, response operations, intergovernmental coordination at the State, county, and local levels, and strategies for effective mitigation and recovery.
Call for Speakers
The New York State Disaster Preparedness Commission (DPC) is pleased to invite subject matter experts, partners, and practitioners to submit a presentation proposal for the 2026 DPC Conference. Please complete the form below by EOD May 15, 2026 to submit a presentation proposal. You will be notified of any decision in mid-June.
