The New York State Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services will never call you asking for personal information. If you receive a call from someone claiming to be from Homeland Security and asking for personal information, it is a scam. Do not share your personal information.
Terrorists won't succeed if suspicious activity is reported by members of the public, and that somebody could be you. If you think that you may have seen something suspicious or you are unsure about somebody's activities or behavior, however insignificant it may seem at the time, you should report it.
